Children living in St. Petersburg and southern Pinellas County are eligible to compete for cash

prizes for reading and providing proof of the number of books read between January 23, 2023 and February 28, 2023.

Cash prizes will be awarded in age groups to the child that reads the most books and can

provide proof by submitting a summary of the book; 5-8 years old ($75.00), 9-11 years old

($75.00), 12-15 years old ($150.00), 16-18 years old ($200.00). PWRTRC judges reserve the right to determine if the summary is adequate enough to verify that the child has read the book in its entirety.

Contestants must certify in writing on each summary the date they began reading the book and the date they finished reading the book. Certifications not included will be disqualified.

Entries must be submitted to email address pwrtrc2021@gmail.com no later than midnight on
