Longitudinal Study of Black Women, ACS

The American Cancer Society, (ACS) is launching a national study of 100,000 Black women to learn more about factors that contribute to existing cancer related disparities. Florida is one of the participating states with a goal of enrolling 7,000 women. This longitudinal study will provide information for researches, clinicians and policy experts to address the healthcare needs of this population.

Enrollment will begin May 6. Any women who meets the criteria in Florida can join the study, but The American Cancer Society is targeting the Duval, Miami, Gainesville, Tampa, Orlando and Tallahassee area for initial recruitment.
