Hamilton High School Class of 1974 Reunion is set to go down in the history books of Memphis Tennessee. The Hamilton High School Class of 1974 will take center stage with their 50th Anniversary Class Reunion, May 24-26, 2024. The event is planned and will be an awesome celebration.
To prepare themselves for the long arduous job of event planning, the Class Reunion Committee busied themselves with events ranging from holiday gatherings, seminars, and annual galas to volunteer opportunities. During the summer several meetings were held to once again put it all together. A strategic marketing campaign was put into effect to bolster attendance.
On October 10, 2023, they attended the Bladder Control Seminar For Women held at the Central Barbecue Restaurant at 4375 Summer Ave.
On November 4, 2023, the committee attended the Hamilton High School Alumni Blue and White Gala. The Hamilton High Class of 1974 donated $1000 to the alumni to aid high school graduating seniors, presented by Attorney Linda Nettles Harris. Then, on November 23, 2023, the Class Committee volunteered to assist in feeding the homeless at the Union Mission located at 383 Poplar Ave. They attended church service and served delicious Thanksgiving dinner to the residents.
During the 2023 Christmas Holiday, a celebration was held at the Alcy Ball Development Organization at 1672 E. Alcy Rd. There was food, musical entertainment, and games. Fun was had by all that attended.
They’ve volunteered together, fellowshipped together, eaten together, cried together, attended seminars together, and mourned their fallen classmates together. The Committee has done all the necessary things to get ready for their 50th Anniversary Class Reunion. And now, the time is here!
