He is the proud owner of African Extravaganza, located at 1405 Tampa Park Plaza off Nebraska near downtown Tampa. His shop has been a staple in the African American community for over 25 years.
“Everything on my body works” stated Tai Igbinosun. Over 80 years old and still shaking and moving, Tai would like you to stop by and see if he can be of service to you. A father of 3, Tai moved to Tampa in 1978 from New York by way of Nigeria. and has owned African Extravaganza for 13 years. Always dressed in African attire he is a walking billboard for his business.
We first met Tai when African Attire was the dress theme at events during Black History month, Church events and Junteenth dinner celebrations.
